Arriving In Style
The arrival in the limo by the bride or groom has not gone
by the wayside but it has taken on a new spin.
Couples choose their transportation by theme or just because they have
always wanted to arrive in "something like this". Whatever you choose
make it fun and interesting.

What's Your Color?
For the entire month of June I will be giving you tips and inspirational pics on how to choose your color palette for your wedding. Remember to check back for continued tips and ideas.
Let's start with tip #1
To figure out your perfect wedding colors start by choosing one main color. This is the color that will be mostly used throughout your ceremony and reception. To help you make a decision...........
A - Consider who you are as a couple. Are you traditional, whimsical, romantic, or chic & modern?
B - Where will your wedding be held? Make sure the colors you choose compliment your location (church and reception venue) not compete with it.
C - What time of year will your wedding be held? It is true, it's your wedding and you can do whatever you want. However, you do want to consider the time of year when choosing your palette.
Now, let's take a look at the combination of Navy, Yellow, and White. I know this color combination makes you think nautical but as you will see, there's more that meets the watery eye.

All About Him!
The wedding day is not just for brides anymore. Nowadays the groom has a lot of input into
what that spectacular day will look like, how he wants the guests to feel, and
every other aspect of the day.
Also, like most men, the groom likes to add a little fun to
the attire of his groomsmen as well as himself.
Ties are a good way for the men to express themselves and have fun
too.
Let’s take a look and get inspired!
We all know about the traditional ties. Just so you know, they are still great!

Napkins Anyone?
There was a time when cloth napkins were common at the
dinner table. Today, they are mostly
used for special occasions. Fortunately,
because they are rarely used, the selections and price points on linen napkins
are endless.
I am a big fan of the cloth napkin. They give a nice look to a table setting and
make your event a little more special. Whenever
I go to a fancy restaurant or a special event I usually look for an artful
napkin fold. Once, I was so impressed
with the napkin I asked the waiter to show me how to fold it.
Linen napkins are a way to show your guests you care. Now that you have the napkins let’s do
something amazing with them.

Remembering Your Guests
Last week it was the seating chart, this week it's the guest book.
We all are familiar with the “guest book”. This is a book used for your guest to write
down their name & address so you can send them a thank you for attending
your wedding or event. It usually gets
tucked away after the thank you's are mailed, sometimes never to be seen
again.
How about changing the dynamics and presenting something
that will be memorable for you and your guests. Check out these inspirational ideas and give your guests a reason to want to sign the "guest book".
Your guest can sign their name on a balloon fingerprint or a family tree.
Afterwards, frame for a fun reminder.
Order an engagement puzzle or use a favorite picture puzzle. Your guests can sign each piece and later you will have a great time putting the pieces back together.
Little Couple Fingerprinting
Make your guest book a part of your home. Your guests can sign a chair, bench, or bookcase.
You decide.
Create a decorative calendar and have your guests sign on their birth date. How surprised will they be when a card arrives from you on their birthday.

Let's Have A Seat
One - Your guest walk up to a table, tell the hostess their
name, she/he checks the guest off the list and advises what table you are sitting.
Two – Your guest walk up to a beautifully decorated table
and look for their name on an escort card and proceed to their table.
Three – The bride and groom have decided on open seating
except for the reserved family tables.
However you choose to seat your guests make sure it’s done
with class and expediency. You don’t
want a line and your guests don’t want to be in line. Based on the number attending, make sure you have enough hosts/hostesses on
hand to assist your guests with ease. Depending on the direction of your wedding you and your planner can be as creative as you like. I hope these ideas will inspire.

The Uniqueness Of It All
Weddings are an important celebratory moment in your
life. Because it goes so fast you want
to capture every moment. You want your
wedding to be remembered by all that attend.
Why not try some of these ideas and leave a little memory for everyone.
His & Her Fingerprints
Put your fingerprints on each others wedding band or a special piece of jewelry
Instead of the traditional ring pillow try a small box, a bible / sacred family book,
or a ring pillow made of flowers
Ask your venue would they put the seating in a circle so everyone can see everything
Take a memorable photo or frame mementos from your wedding
for a memory that will last a lifetime
Let your bridesmaids help you down the aisle
by writing a personal message on the bottom of your shoe
