Your big day is coming up and you want to do something special for your groom or he wants to do something special for his bride. Do you give a gift? Write a note? Leave a special message on voicemail? All those are appropriate.
I have had brides and grooms do all that is mentioned above and more and each has brought the other to tears; I have been fortunate enough that they have shared with me and I ended up with teary eyes.
I had a lovely bride that purchased beautiful costume jewelry that looked exquisite with her dress. It was obvious that she was not frugal with her spending. However, the groom contacted me in advance and gave me a beautiful box filled with a diamond bracelet, a diamond necklace, and diamond earrings along with a note that read "My Queen Deserves the Best". Needless to say everyone in the room had to have their makeup reapplied.
If at all possible, engrave a beautiful inscription in each other's wedding band or surprise him with a watch he has longed for as he is putting on his everyday watch. Write a love note and give it to his best man / maid of honor to give to each other before it's time for the grand entrance. The two of you will be too busy to answer your phone so it will be easy to leave a love message on voicemail or in this techno age a love text.
There are many ways you can surprise each other with something special that will only have meaning to the two of you. It doesn't have to be expensive or even cost a dime; it just has to be meaningful and come from the heart.
